We have started welcoming visitors to our villa in Bijilo since November 2007. We hope of course to get more equally satisfied guests like the reviews below.

Paul (Bellshill, UK), who stayed two weeks in April 2009, wrote:
"This villa is well worth a visit as the staff and locals are so helpfull, this villa is ideal for familys as we found out with our 2 kids neil 10 years and rebecca 8 years they had a holiday they will never forget, abraham and lamin the workers were realy great with us all spending time to make sure we were all enjoying our stay ,i would love to return again to this villa having been to gambia 5 times before staying in hotels this tops that total freedom no hastle and mutch more room and space to live in thanks again all"

Family Van den Herik (Sliedrecht, The Netherlands) stayed almost two weeks in the villa in October 2008. They wrote: 

"We really enjoyed it, the watchmen were very nice. They wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had nice conversations and they took really good care of us, so everything was very positive."

Arturo Landahl stayed in July and August 2008. He wrote us:
"It met more than my expectations. The villa is beautiful, the garden was so pleasant to be in, the guards were the perfect people, always trying to make your life better, always asking what they could do for you, always with a big smile. Not to say about the owner, to whom I commented that the weather was very hot, and he had an air conditioner installed in my room just for me within the next 2 days! I had problems to get a visa extension, and there again was the owner solving the problem, taking care of everything, without me even having to move from the house. The atmosphere was so different from being home, but made you really feel at home, although it might sound like a contradiction. The location is perfect, away from all the hassle, but still very near to Senegambia, the shopping area, the nice beaches. The two months there will be difficult to forget, just as the good food I was given, and, if I again have the chance, I will surely repeat the experience!"

Stichting ConnAct (Den Haag, The Netherlands) stayed one month during the period April/May 2008. Nicoline van Gorkum, Projectcoördinator State of MIC said:
"I will speak for all my collegues when I say that our stay in your house was wonderful! The house is very beautiful, and the neighbourhood nice and quiet. The shop was so close, which is also handy, and we got free TV-shows there outside in the nighttime A special compliment for Ibu, because he was doing his job so well, he really welcomed us with so much warmth, and helped us with everything we needed..."
 
Kenny (Antwerpen, Belgium) spent together with two friends three weeks in The Gambia during November 2007:

"It was our honour to spend 3 weeks in your house and in the company of you and your friends. Thanks again for all the things you did for us (sorry vincent i beat you in the table tennis (joke), taking me to the gym, always be there for us....) Also a big thank you for letting us see and experience the real gambia life, things we normally wouldn't have seen. Everything was perfect. Greetings to you and your family and hope to see you soon.
